  4 stars just for the acting..Matthew McConaughey is terrific and maturing into a great actor. Kudos to the supporting cast ie. LETO. Original story, brought through an adapted screenplay keeps you engrossed and movie is over before you know it. Exhausting movie, imagining the physical transformations of some of the actors. A GEM.

  MM is absolutely brilliant. A charismatic character fighting for his life and, though mercenary, fighting for others lives too. A poignant snapshot of society's intolerant attitude towards AIDS and gays not so long ago. Memorable performances from Leto and Garner. A must see.

  Excellent movie with great performances all the way around. It was hard to watch Matt so emaciated though. Well worth the money.
